Left-Field is an approachable, versatile single malt whisky with the hallmarks of our distinctive Australian red wine barrel maturation. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia’s food and culture capital, Left-Field is very comfortable on the dinner table, served mixed, shaken or built.
Smooth and flavoursome in style, Left-Field is unique to Starward as we’ve only used 100% French oak to give a rich and spicy mouthfeel and to enhance the complex oak characters, while maintaining the delicate wine flavours that have soaked into the barrels.
Bringing together Australian barley and Australian red wine barrels from our famed wine regions, of the Barossa Valley and Yarra Valley, Starward Left-Field truly celebrates the barrels which had previously held some of Australia’s biggest and boldest red wines.
Eminently approachable and delicious, Left-Field has been deliberately crafted to be ideal for mixing with anything or mixed with nothing. Drink it your way!
